While I personally have enjoyed the Steel Path so far(8 planets in), I foresee a big problem with the mode's longevity. At the current reward rate (low Steel Essence/Riven Sliver drop rates) I think most players will be done w/ the mode once they've cleared the Star Chart, and likely not touch it again outside of certain fan-favorite nodes like Mot, Hydron, etc.

Arbitration does provide some sort of challenge, while giving (if not great) still waaay better rewards than those mission. Those Steel Path mission need to: Increase drop. Make mission rewards equivalent for mission level. Lowering difficulty won't make it fun nor rewarding, so it ties down to how rewarding are those missions to play.
